OVEN-COOKED CHICKEN SHAWARMA I watched Nigella cook this on TV and she proper sold it to me and so I cooked it the same day. This is right up my street anyway but cooking it to share with my kids and my partner all of who love food but picky finger food and wraps always goes down a storm on Saturday night. I cooked the recipe exactly as but added some hot peppers filled with cream cheese (easy for the kids to get involved in) a simple dish of sliced red onion and lemon juice and tomatoes with coriander and lime wedges. I spent a bit of time warming the flat breads individually in a tava and served up the shawarma on a bed of lettuce. It was seriously delicious and the only stress came from everyone while I took photos before letting everyone tuck in.
