Metric Cups
  • 50 grams dried cherries (sour)
  • 75 millilitres red wine
  • 170 grams sour cherry jam
  • 2 ounces dried cherries (sour)
  • 2⅝ fluid ounces red wine
  • 6 ounces sour cherry jam

Method

  • Soak the dried cherries in the wine for 20 mins.
  • Place in a saucepan and bring gently to the boil, then reduce to a simmer and add the jam and continue simmering for 15 mins.
  • Stir every so often with a wooden spoon.
