Hershey'S "Candy Bar" Frosting

This frosting is delicious and is enough to frost either the 2 (9in) layers or 3 (8in) layers


Serves: 1 cake

  • 227 cream cheese
  • 250 granulated sugar
  • 250 confectioners' sugar
  • 2 large chocolate bar (or with almonds - chopped)
  • 125 chopped pecan nuts
  • 340 cool whip (a brand of whipped cream)

  • Beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth then add and mix 1C powdered sugar.
  • Add chopped chocolate bars (reserving some to sprinkle over top of finished cake) and then mix in the cool whip.

    *the chocolate bars (with or without almonds) may be refrigerated to help with chopping
