  • 5 egg yolks
  • 7 tablespoons sugar
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 1 litre milk
  • 1 lemon zest

  • Mix the egg yolks and the sugar in a bowl.
  • Add a bit of milk (previously warmed up) and add the flour bit by bit.
  • Pour the remaining milk mixing slowly.
  • Add the zest of lemon and cook on a low flame until it reaches the boil.
