Parsimmon Mousse

A delicious mousse really easy to make!!! Only for parsimmon lovers.


Serves: 4

  • 4 persimmons (mature)
  • 10 amaretti biscuits (you can substitute with shortbread and a little bit of amaretto liqueur!)
  • 6 graham crackers (or petit beurre)
  • 1 egg
  • rum
  • sugar


Parsimmon Mousse is a community recipe submitted by Curlylu and has not been tested by so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • Peel the parsimmons and open them in half and remove the seeds.
  • Chop the 6 amaretti and biscotti secchi.
  • Put in the mixer:parsimmons,chopped biscuits,egg,1 tbs of sugar and 2 tbs of rum.Mix briefly and then pour the mousse inside 4 little bowl and put them in the fridge for 2 hours.
  • Garnish each bowl with an amaretto biscuit.
  • If you like you can add a dollop of whipped cream on each amaretto.Enjoy!
