Ingredients

Metric Cups
  • 40 grams margarine
  • 50 grams caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 25 grams cocoa powder
  • 75 grams icing sugar
  • 1 ounce margarine
  • 2 ounces superfine sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 ounce unsweetened cocoa
  • 3 ounces confectioners' sugar

Method

  • Add margarine, water and caster sugar into a bowl and place in the microwave for 1 minute.
  • Once taken out of microwave stir mixture for about 30 seconds. Add cocoa powder and icing sugar and mix together and you are looking for a dark chocolate look.
  • Finally leave to set for 5-10 minutes then it will be ready to apply to your cake.
