Introduction
I made this up yesterday and I'm posting it for anyone who needs to up their fibre intake due to stomach trouble or, like me, pregnancy. It is adapted from CAL's Oat so Simple cookies with added extras!

Ingredients
Serves: 6-8
- 200 grams oats
- 200 grams sugar
- 200 grams butter
- 200 grams flour
- 2 grams golden syrup
- 1 handful dried prunes (chopped)
- 1 handful dried apricots (chopped)
- 1 handful flaked almonds
- 1 handful bran flakes (crushed)
- 1 gram special k cereal (just because I like the taste, you could omit this or add a different cereal)
- raisins
- cranberries (optional)
- dates (optional)
- 7 ounces oats
- 7 ounces sugar
- 7 ounces butter
- 7 ounces flour
- ounce golden syrup or light corn syrup
- 1 handful dried prunes (chopped)
- 1 handful dried apricots (chopped)
- 1 handful sliced almonds
- 1 handful bran flakes (crushed)
- ounce special k cereal (just because I like the taste, you could omit this or add a different cereal)
- raisins
- cranberries (optional)
- dates (optional)

These are very high in fibre so don't eat too many at once! Good to fill you up and to help prevent constipation, piles etc, that's why they're good in pregnancy!
