Chimichurri is a very popular latinamerican barbq (or roasted meat) sauce.

Ingredients

Serves: a bowl

  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 dried laurel leaf or bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • fresh thyme
  • basil leaves
  • fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 crushed red bell pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
