Amaretto and Raisin Ice Cream

Soak raisins in amaretto. In a pan put in water, sugar, cinnamon stick, lemon rind and cloves. Simmer gently for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, cool a bit and strain. Add milk. Pour it in a glass or stainless steel bow, and freeze for 45 mins. Mix with a fork and stir in the strained amaretto. Pour mixture in your ice cream maker according to your instructions. Just before it is ready put in the raisins.
