Ingredients

Metric Cups
  • 225 grams cranberries
  • 225 grams sugar
  • 1 pomegranate seeds
  • 1 orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon liqueur (of choice)
  • 8 ounces cranberries
  • 8 ounces sugar

Method

  • Heat the cranberries and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the cranberries just begin to pop.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and cook for a scant minute longer. You don't want to make cranberry sauce, just an amalgamation.
  • Take off the heat and put into sterilized jars, or spread over Christmas morning muffins. Also nice as a Pavlova topping.
