Metric Cups
  • 1 fish (fresh, whole)
  • fresh coriander (fresh)
  • 2 slices lemongrass
  • olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • gram black pepper
  • gram oyster sauce
  • gram salt
  • 1 lemon (juice of)

Method

My Style Steam Fish is a community recipe submitted by kr1899 and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • Clean the fish and keep aside (dry it with paper towel so it doesn't have any access water) sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  • Into a bowl, put in chopped coriander, thinly sliced lemon grass, crushed garlic, olive oil, black pepper sauce and oyster sauce. Mixed it well.
  • Get some aluminium foil, put on top the fish and pour all the ingredients to the fish.
  • Lastly squeeze the lemon juice along the fish.
  • Fold the aluminium to half and fold the fish in and make it like a bag. Do not leave any holes along sides of the foil.
  • Steam the fish for about 25-30 minutes. Enjoy.....
