This is my take on miracle bars - everybody simply loves them, once started you just cannot stop snacking - definitely not for dieters!!!

This is my take on miracle bars - everybody simply loves them, once started you just cannot stop snacking - definitely not for dieters!!!

Ingredients

Serves: 8

Metric Cups
  • 200 shortbread (crushed)
  • 100 grams butter (melted)
  • 250 millilitres dark chocolate chips
  • 250 millilitres pecan nuts (roughly chopped)
  • 100 grams milk chocolate (roughly chopped)
  • 100 grams white chocolate (roughly chopped)
  • 1 tin sweetened condensed milk (full cream)
  • 200 shortbread (crushed)
  • 4 ounces butter (melted)
  • 8⅘ fluid ounces bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 8⅘ fluid ounces pecan nuts (roughly chopped)
  • 4 ounces milk chocolate (roughly chopped)
  • 4 ounces white chocolate (roughly chopped)
  • 1 tin sweetened condensed milk (full cream)

Method

  • Line a square / Lamington tin with foil or parchment paper and grease (I spray with spray and cook) Preheat oven to 180 Celsius
  • Pour melted butter over base of tin Scatter crushed biscuits over butter, use finger to push any sand dune piles down.
  • Scatter over chococlate chips, nuts and chocolate roughly chopped
  • Drizzle condensed milk over top Do not worry if not every little bit is covered
  • bake for 20 - 25 minutes
  • Cut into squares when cool
