Introduction

Ingredients

Serves: 6

Metric Cups
  • 4 large oranges (peeled and deseeded)
  • 1 litre full fat milk (boiled and reduced to half)
  • 4 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange-flower water
  • 4 large oranges (peeled and deseeded)
  • 1¾ pints whole milk (boiled and reduced to half)
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange-flower water

Method

  • Remove the thin skin from the orange segments and keep aside.
  • Cool the thickened milk to room temperature.
  • Add the sugar and mix well.
  • Add the orange segments and stir.
  • Now add the orange flower water and mix well.
  • Divide into 6 individual serving bowls and chill in the refrigerator.
  • Garnish with a spiral of orange rind before serving.
