It's a light dish with lots of vegetables and it's suitable for vegetarians. I like it very much because you can add any kind of vegetable- it will be good. It is easy to make. And you can buy gnocchi (Italian pasta made by potato) in every hypermarket. And the interesting part of this recipe is that you don't have to use oil.

  • 100 grams gnocchi
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 part paprika
  • 3 mushrooms
  • onions (optional)
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • fresh basil
  • cheese
  • 3½ ounces gnocchi

  • Cook the gnocchi for about 2-3 minutes in salted water.
  • Chop the vegetables. Cook also the mushrooms if you use fresh ones.
  • Braise the onion, the paprika, the tomatoes and the basil for about 3-4 minutes.
  • In the last minute add some cheese.
  • Mix the gnocchi with the vegetables and flavour by salt and pepper. You can add some ketchup if you'd like.
