Such a pleasure to meet you in St. Louis! Here is a local favorite, rather easy and extremely decadent!

Ingredients

Serves: 12

  • 18 ounces yellow cake mix (one package, butter recipe)
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 5 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups confectioners' sugar

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Mix cake mix, 3 eggs, butter, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, pat into 13" X 9" pan.
  • Mix softened cream cheese, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 2 eggs with mixer.
  • Slowly beat in powdered sugar.
  • Pour over cake, bake for 40-45 minutes, cool.
