Maple Bourbon Pecan Pie

Absolutely the best Pecan Pie! My husband requests this for his birthday every year. Courtesy of Martha Stewart.


Serves: 4-6

  • 1 pie crust (9 inch, unbaked)
  • 250 granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 250 dark corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons dark corn syrup
  • 125 maple syrup (pure)
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon (or dark rum)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 375 pecan nuts (halves)


Maple Bourbon Pecan Pie is a community recipe submitted by SeattleDiane and has not been tested by so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • Chill pie crust for at least 30 minutes. Place on a baking sheet.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together sugar, butter, 4 whole eggs, corn syrup, maple syrup, bourbon and vanilla. Fold in half the pecan halves.
  • Pour filling into pie shell; arrange remaining pecan halves on top of pie. Chill pie for 30 minutes.
  • In a preheated 400 degree oven, bake 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake until a knife tip comes out clean, about 1 hour 15 minutes.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
