White Chocolate Pistachio Truffles

Ingredients

Serves: 30 truffles

  • 1 cup chopped white chocolate
  • ⅓ cup fresh cream
  • 1 tablespoon malibu (coconut liqueur)
  • 3 tablespoons coarsely powdered pistachios
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut

Method

White Chocolate Pistachio Truffles is a community recipe submitted by sweetjaw and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • Heat the cream over gentle heat in a heavy bottomed pan. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
  • Add white chocolate and Malibu and mix well till smooth.
  • Refrigerate till firm. This is the truffle.
  • Divide the truffle into 30 equal portions. Shape into rounds.
  • Roll the truffle rounds in the pistachio and dessicated coconut till well coated. Refrigerate till firm.
  • Wrap in some chocolate paper and take along in a basket!
  • Additional Information

    You can substitute the Malibu with a few drops of coconut essence. For purists, swap the white choco for dark and Malibu for creme de menthe.
