Ingredients

Serves: 10-15 meatballs

Metric Cups
  • 500 grams minced beef
  • 1 garlic
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 fresh parsley
  • 1 salt
  • 1 pepper
  • 17⅔ ounces ground beef

Method

Beef Meatballs of My Mom is a community recipe submitted by Vishinka and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • Soak slices of bread in milk. Squeeze the milk out.
  • Mix together all ingredients in a food processor.
  • With wet hands shape the mixture into medium-sized balls.
  • Fry in a frying pan with some olive oil until they are nicely browned on all sides.
  • Finish them baking in pre-heated oven at 180 C for 20 minutes. Add some olive in the bottom of the dish to keep them moist and tender.
