Soak slices of bread in milk. Squeeze the milk out.
Mix together all ingredients in a food processor.
With wet hands shape the mixture into medium-sized balls.
Fry in a frying pan with some olive oil until they are nicely browned on all sides.
Finish them baking in pre-heated oven at 180 C for 20 minutes. Add some olive in the bottom of the dish to keep them moist and tender.

My advice: you can use beef or pork or veal as meat. You can also add some grated cheese. Serve with spaghetti, rice or buckwheat.
