I discovered tofu quite recently. It's true that tofu is plain in taste but if you flavour it with different spices or sauces, it can be really delicious. Here is a very easy recipe with Asian noodles and tofu which is done within 15 minutes. I was inspired by Nigella's recipe.

I discovered tofu quite recently. It's true that tofu is plain in taste but if you flavour it with different spices or sauces, it can be really delicious. Here is a very easy recipe with Asian noodles and tofu which is done within 15 minutes. I was inspired by Nigella's recipe.

Ingredients

Serves: 4-6

Metric Cups
  • 2 packets soba noodles
  • 1 green pepper (or red - cut into slices)
  • 1 pinch of pepper (or paprika)
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • fresh parsley
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 250 grams tofu (cut into cubes)
  • sesame seeds (for garnish - optional)
  • 2 packets soba noodles
  • 1 green bell pepper (or red - cut into slices)
  • 1 pinch of pepper (or paprika)
  • 3 tablespoons asian sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • fresh parsley
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 9 ounces tofu (cut into cubes)
  • sesame seeds (for garnish - optional)

  • Heat a wok over high heat. Add oil. Add oinion, tofu, pepper. Toss lightly for 1 minutes.
  • Add cooked noodles. Continue cooking for 5-7 minutes over medium heat.
  • Add pepper or paprika, salt, soy sauce, juice of lime . Stir together.
  • Sprinkle with the sesame seeds before serving.
