Cleaning box and microplane graters

I find that when you're having to grate cheese on a box grater, if you rinse the grater with cold water before grating, it helps when it comes to washing the grater later. I do the same when using any microplane graters too; again, it's easier to wash any debris off them! Even if they're washed in a dishwasher.
