Our answer

Nigella's Lamb Kofta With Garlic Sauce (from AT MY TABLE) are lamb patties that are gently spiced with cumin, coriander and allspice. They are made with lamb mince (ground lamb), though it would be possible to use chicken mince (ground chicken).

However, please bear in mind that most chicken mince is quite low in fat, with the average supermarket mixture of thigh and breast mince having about a 5% fat content. This means that the koftas may be slightly drier than if they were made with lamb, as lamb mince has around 20% fat content. If you have a good butcher then it is worth asking them if they are able to make some chicken mince just from chicken thighs, as thighs have a better flavour and a higher fat content.
