Full question
Can you make the Spaghetti With Tuna, Lemon And Rocket recipe for three servings? What would change? I would definitely like to make this!
Our answer
Nigella's Spaghetti With Tuna, lemon And Rocket (from NIGELLISSIMA) is an easy weeknight supper that can be made from ingredients that are often in the cupboard or fridge. The quality of the jarred or canned tuna does make a big difference to the dish, so do try to buy the best tuna (packed in oil) that your budget will allow for.
The recipe serves 2 people generously. If you want to stretch it to 3 people then definitely make sure you have a can or jar of tuna that is at least 200g (7 ounces) or two smaller (125g) jars or cans (4-5 ounces each). For the pasta you could use 250-300g (9-10 ounces) spaghetti, depending on appetite. For the other ingredients you just need to be slightly more generous, using 4-5 spring onions (scallions), a large lemon, a heaped 1/4 teaspoon of chilli flakes, 1/2 of a fat clove of garlic, heaping 1/2 teaspoon sea salt flakes and about 30g of rocket (arugula). All of these can also be tweaked to suit your own taste.
