Gluten Free Sponge Cake

Our answer

Nigella's recipe for Victoria Sponge (from HOW TO BE A DOMESTIC GODDESS) is a traditional vanilla sponge cake. Unfortunately we have not tried the cake with gluten-free flour and as gluten-free flours can absorb slightly more liquid we are not sure that you can just switch in gluten-free flour without making some other small adjustments.

However, Nigella has several recipes for gluten-free cakes which you may like to consider instead.
