Can you substitute Vegemite for Marmite in the recipe Spaghetti with Marmite? As I live in Australia, British Marmite is hard to find and would I use unsalted butter if I used Vegemite?

Nigella's Spaghetti With Marmite (from KITCHEN) tosses pasta in a deeply savoury sauce made from unsalted butter and Marmite. Vegemite can be used as an alternative to Marmite for the recipe, and this information has now been added to the on-line recipe.
We would suggest sticking with the unsalted butter for the sauce as Vegemite is also quite salty. However, you can add a little extra Vegemite (or Marmite) if you like. We would suggest tasting the pasta first and if you feel it needs a little extra, dissolve a very small amount of Vegemite or Marmite with a splash of the reserved pasta water before tossing it through the spaghetti.
