Our answer

Nigella's Spiced And Fried Haddock With Broccoli Puree (from SIMPLY NIGELLA) coats thick white fillets of haddock in a seasoned flour mixture, which, when fried, forms a spicy crust with moist, flaky fish inside.

It is possible to use chunky fillets from other firm white fish as an alternative to the haddock. Cod would be a possible alternative or hake, pollack, whiting or coley and if possible try to use fish from sustainable sources (such as MSC certified fish). You could also dust the seasoned flour onto thinner fillets of fish, such as sole or plaice, though bear in mind that their cooking time will be shorter.
