Teabags For Mulled Cider

Nigella's Mulled Cider (from NIGELLA CHRISTMAS) is a warming and suitably seasonal beverage. It is flavoured with cinnamon, cloves, bay and cardamom and also with an apple and ginger tea. Apple and ginger teabags are available on-line and in some natural food stores.

If you can't find the teabags then you could make the tea from a combination of a regular ginger teabag and 2-3 slices of dried apple (depending on the size of the slices). As the Mulled Cider includes several spices, we would avoid using spiced ginger and apple teabags as it will interfere with the taste of the finished drink.
