Our answer

Nigella's Duck Breasts With Pomegranate And Mint is a perfect dinner party dish as you can roast the duck breasts, wrap them in foil and leave them to rest while you sit down for a starter, or share some appetizers with your friends. When you are ready to serve the breasts, you can just unwrap and slice them. The rich duck breasts are served with a peppery leaf salad, such as rocket (arugula) or watercress, or a combination of the two, and scattered with sharp-sweet pomegranate seeds. If you don't have much time or oven space then you could just serve the dish as is, particularly if you have already offered your guests a first course. Otherwise, we would suggest serving steamed new or baby white potatoes alongside, or simply some crusty bread.

Nigella's Rhubarb Muffins (from FEAST include a combination of plain (all-purpose) flour and wheatgerm (or wheat germ). Wheatgerm is the germ part of a grain of wheat (which the grain sprouts from) and is often discarded, along with bran, during milling of white flour. It can be used to make oil but is most often sold as fine flakes that can be added to various dishes. It has a slightly sweet, nutty flavour. If you don't have any wheatgerm then oat bran is a possible substitute. Otherwise, replace the wheatgerm with the same quantity of extra plain flour.
