Our answer

Nigella's White Bean Mash (from NIGELLA EXPRESS) is a quick dish made from drained, canned white beans (such as canellini beans). The dish is extremely versatile and was originally to be a speedy side dish to be served with some quicky fried steaks, though it is equally good with other grilled or roasted meats and fish.

We don't see any reason why the White Bean Mash could not be served as a dip, perhaps warm with some sturdy pieces of thinly sliced and toasted bread or cold with crudites or tortilla chips. If making a dip then we would suggest that you mash the beans thoroughly as a coarse texture will make it harder to scoop the mixture onto chips or vegetable sticks.
