This month’s Cookalong is Rose and Pepper Pavlova with Strawberries and Passionfruit. The meringue base has black pepper and rosewater folded into it. The strawberries for the pavlova topping are macerated, or soaked, in the juice of the passionfruit with a little caster sugar, before being spooned over the whipped cream. When you’ve perfected your pavlova, take a photograph, add your caption, then send it to us, and you will then be in the running to win a signed book of Nigella’s. We will upload your entry, and will announce the winner at the beginning of next month.
