I strictly followed Nigella's recipe because it was my first time making a cheesecake and it was to be the dessert for our American Thanksgiving. To my relief, the resulting cheesecake was rich and smooth. Preparing the picture was a family event - the bonsai tree in the background is my husband’s Japanese Maple and my daughters picked and placed the fall leaves, pinecones, and acorns. We have much to be thankful for!
