We're in the middle of a rainy winter here in Cape Town but today we saw some sunshine. Perfect for afternoon tea. I don't own a springform tin so I had to get creative - mind you, a square cut piece of cake does have an air of generosity to it. I like my cheesecakes clean, with no fuss on top. I zested a bit of lemon to match my mood. I will definitely be making this one again. It's going to be difficult not to skip formalities and nibble straight from the fridge.
