On the weekend, I baked Nigella’s recipe for Chocolate Cake with Coffee Buttercream. About 2 years ago, I received a couple of cake slices from a neighbour and I assumed that it was this recipe, it turns out it probably wasn’t because the coffee buttercream in this recipe is quite strong, what an assumption! I did add a bit of sour cream to my icing and it must have split my icing otherwise, it was a thick consistency before adding it. Haha, bye. x
