As a family that loves Japanese flavours, I was immediately drawn to Nigella's "Sake steak & rice". I loved this recipe as it got the kids experiencing some flavours that they would normally turn their nose up at. Despite incorporating mustard & fish sauce as per the recipe, everyone fought over these tender, juicy pieces of meat! I took the liberty of adding chopped spring onions from our garden & a couple of cloves of lonely garlic which I fried up till deeply golden & crispy.
