Letitia Clark has featured prominently in CookbookCorner over the years, and for good reason. Her beautiful books are an unfailing delight and, it must be said, her palate chimes so resonantly with mine, making every page feel like a perfectly chosen present. This is more the case than ever with her latest book, For the Love of Lemons. I am an out-and-out lemon-obsessive; I’m not sure I could even cook if I ran out of lemons, and if that ever did happen, I’d certainly need to be treated for shock! Frankly, if you have even one tenth of my enthusiasm, you need this book. It seems sharply unfair to have to choose just one recipe to share with you today, but instead of moaning, I celebrate my great good fortune in bringing her Lemony Minestra, a most happy-making citrus-sharp vegetable soup, to nigella.com.
