I am writing this, with my laptop rather precariously placed (too near an open flame and some boiling water) while I watch my newest recruits working around the kitchen table.
Two thirds of the team have been on maternity leave (two babies were born within 4 days of each other last Autumn due, I like to say, to my witchy imprecations; my photographer got pregnant during the shoot for KITCHEN, just a couple of months after the other two, as well) and are now back for a couple of days a week, with offspring in tow.
It's a rather heartwarming sight, to watch the newest members of Team Cupcake make themselves busy about the place and, of course, in my book more people to feed is never a bad thing.
