Introduction

These may seem basic and flavourless by looking at the ingredients but they are delicious especially with some chilli sauce.

Ingredients

Serves: 3

  • 2 medium eggs
  • 2 carrots (peeled and grated)
  • 1½ cups cabbages (cut finely shredded)
  • 2 teaspoons mustard seeds (optional)
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon fresh gingerroot
  • chilli sauce (to serve)

  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, the cabbage, carrot, mustard seeds, eggs, ginger and flour and mix well.
  • Make into little patties, should make 9.
  • Put a little oil or butter into a pan and cook for 2-3 minutes each side.
  • Serve hot with sauce and salad. Yum! :)
