Corned Beef Crumble

Introduction

An interesting savoury crumble dish. Good served with new potatoes, carrots and gravy.

Ingredients

Serves: 4

  • ½ kilogram corned beef
  • 170 grams all-purpose flour
  • 85 grams quick-cooking oats
  • 57 grams butter
  • 1 packet potato crisps
  • 85 grams cheese
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • water

Method

  • Cover the bottom of a casserole dish about 1/4" deep with cold water, mix in the Worcester Sauce.
  • Mince or finely chop the corned beef, sprinkle over the water
  • Sieve flour into a large mixing bowl. Add butter, rub in to the fine breadcrumb stage. Add quick-cooking oats, crisps and cheese, mix extremely well). Sprinkle over the corned beef.
  • Bake at 190 centigrade for 20 minutes until a light golden colour.
