Boil about 2 cups of water in a pan with the spices in it for 10 minutes or more. Add about 2 teaspoons of Assam tea. Let it boil for a short while, then add about 1 1/2 cups of milk. Bring back to the boil or thereabouts, and enjoy.
Introduction
This chai recipe is supposed to help with digestion after a spicy meal. I am very fond of this recipe despite having absolutely no need for the digestion help with spices!

- 1 tablespoon bashed cardamom pods
- 1 teaspoon ajwain (also known as carom or lovage seeds)
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- assam loose tea
- water
- milk
