Introduction

Braised Ribs in a delicious bbq sauce. Perfect for an easy mid week supper or even better for nibbles at a party! Ingredients look as though you are cheating but wait till you try it, you will make them all the time! Recipe creates lots of sauce, plenty left over to freeze!

Ingredients

Serves: 4

  • pork ribs 2 large racks are plenty to feed 4 people as a main meal
  • 20 fluid ounces orange juice
  • 2 bottles bbq marinade
  • 1 bottle bbq sauce (smokey flavour)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Method

  • Place the ribs in a large baking tray.
  • Mix all the wet ingredients together with the sugar, once combined pour over the ribs and cover loosely with foil.
  • Bake in a low oven, approx. 150 degrees / gas mark 2/3 for around 3 to 4 hours removing foil for last 20 mins to allow sauce to reduce.
