I love the taste of bourbon in cream. This recipe is an old one from a plantation in the deep south.
- 500 millilitres milk
- 63 millilitres bourbon
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
- 3 eggs
- 250 millilitres superfine sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 375 millilitres cream
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
