I love the taste of bourbon in cream. This recipe is an old one from a plantation in the deep south.
- 2 cups milk
- ¼ cup bourbon
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup superfine sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1½ cups cream
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
