  • 1 egg
  • 150 grams plain flour
  • 500 millilitres milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • frankfurter sausages (or sausages)
  • 1 tin sweetcorn
  • carrots
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley
  • cheese
  • sunflower oil (for frying)
  • 1 egg
  • 5 ounces all-purpose flour
  • 17½ fluid ounces milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • frankfurter sausages (or sausages)
  • 1 tin sweetcorn
  • carrots
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley
  • cheese
  • vegetable oil (for frying)

Method

  • Make the pancake base by mixing the egg, flour, and a part of milk. Stir until smooth, then add the rest of the milk, salt and pepper. The batter should be about single cream thickness.
  • Cook the frankfurters and the chopped carrot.
  • Slice the frankfurters (or uncooked sausages) very thinly, and add them to the batter, together with the carrot, sweetcorn to taste and chopped parsley leaves.
  • Add a teaspoon of oil in a frying pan, heat, then spread a ladle of batter in the pan very thinly.
  • Fry both sides until golden.
  • When the pancakes are ready, spread grated cheese on top and fold in two. Enjoy!
