Mashed Potato Casserole

Great for any occasion, quick to prepare and can be kept in fridge days until ready to reheat - making it ideal for a big meal, like Christmas dinner!


Serves: 10-12

  • 5 pounds potatoes
  • 6 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter


Mashed Potato Casserole is a community recipe submitted by Sous Jo and has not been tested by so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • Peel, cook, drain and mash potatoes till smooth.
  • Add remaining ingredients and beat till light and fluffy.
  • Cool and put in casserole and dot with butter. Cover.
  • Remove from fridge one/two hours before heating at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or so.
  • If you want, top with a can of French Fried Onions.
