Introduction

Spagetti baked with a creamy sauce with chicken, mushrooms and parmesan. Adapted from Jamie O's Italy book. Just leave out chicken for veggies. Very rich but delish!!

Ingredients

Serves: 1

Metric Cups
  • spaghetti
  • chicken breast (cut into bite size pieces)
  • 1 handful mushrooms (sliced)
  • ½ red onion (sliced)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 125 millilitres double cream
  • 125 millilitres white wine
  • herbs
  • 1 pinch of salt (to taste)
  • 1 pinch of pepper (to taste)
  • 1 handful grated parmesan
  • spaghetti
  • chicken breast (cut into bite size pieces)
  • 1 handful mushrooms (sliced)
  • ½ red onion (sliced)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 fluid ounce heavy cream
  • 4 fluid ounce white wine
  • herbs
  • 1 pinch of salt (to taste)
  • 1 pinch of pepper (to taste)
  • 1 handful grated parmesan

Method

Creamy Spaghetti Bake is a community recipe submitted by Tams and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • Cook Spaghetti till al dente. Meanwhile fry onion, garlic and brown chicken. Season with herbs S&P and pour in wine, when chicken cooked through stir through cream and simmer gently for a few mins.
  • Stir in 1/2 the cheese and then taste and season. Mix in pasta and pour into oven proof dish and top with rest of cheese. Bake until golden and serve with green salad and cold white wine. Enjoy
