Introduction

If you want a simple and delicious vegetable side dish, this is it. Lots of comfort here. A basic combination of complimentary ingredients and a little show of restraint (don't add anything else...it simply doesn't need it) and you will be in heaven. I tried this with roast pork tenderloin, peas and mint, and a nice lemon tart to finish. Teresa tree

Ingredients

Serves: 4

  • cauliflowers (2 smallish heads, fresh farmer's market cauliflower)
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 2 cups fresh, grated Gruyere cheese
  • salt
