Forget powdered hot chocolate; chop up equivalent of 5 tsps of real chocolate (anything from milk to 70%) and melt it gently in a small saucepan . Add a mug full (250 mls) warm milk gradually stirring to mix until it starts to bubble. Add a few drops of rosewater (or not). Yes, I know it’s easier to pour hot milk over the powdery stuff but you’ll thank me for this. Instead of rose water a sprinkling of liquorice powder is more than pleasant.
