I have a fridge with 3 small well stocked drawers only. Does Nigella have recipes to make ice cream in small quantities? I cannot find room to freeze containers ahead.
Nigella has many ice cream recipes and some are made by the traditional method of making a custard and then churning it in an ice cream machine. However, if space is at a premium then we suggest trying some of Nigella's no-churn recipes. The advantages of the no-churn ice creams are that they only need an electric hand whisk, bowl and an airtight container to make, they don't need stirring or churning while freezing and the recipes are generally quite easy to halve if you wanted to make a smaller quantity.
We would suggest trying the One-Step No-Churn Coffee Ice Cream or No-Churn Salted Caramel Bourbon Ice Cream as both are very popular recipes. The No-Churn Pomegranate Ice Cream and No-Churn Bitter Orange Ice Cream are popular flavours for summer and the No-Churn Margarita Ice Cream and No-Churn Pina Colada Ice Cream are frozen versions of cocktails that will appeal to adults.
