Given the time of year, a special present feels in order and so here are 10 new recipes, which I created for my special edition of Stylist magazine. There are some quick and easy everyday suppers in the form of my 'pig and fig', aka Pork Steak with Dried Figs and Tawny Port, tangy Dhansak with Tamarind and Dates with a jewel-like garnish of dill and pomegranate seeds, Spinach and Coconut Soup, the old-fashioned comfort of my Tarragon Salmon and a gorgeously hearty Pappardelle with Lamb Ragu with its Sicilian flavours. Then there are the seasonal splurges in the form of a Cappuccino Pavlova and Nutella Cheesecake. And since it's party time, I've thrown in recipes for some smokey Cheese Stars and Cosmo Cocktail Sausages as well as an easy and festive cocktail in the form of my Christmas Cup.
And - because I am in an indulgent (not to say self-indulgent) mood, on Monday I'll serenade you with some salted caramel recipes and the blueprint for my Bacon Brownies!
