As soon as I came back from my very lengthy (and deeply wonderful) Antipodean tour last week, I - of course - went straight to my kitchen. And what I cooked was this dish you see here. I posted a picture of it on Twitter and Instagram, with the caption "Mama’s home! Chicken in a pot with lemony orzo (no recipe as yet) for lunch.” I have never, ever been so besieged with requests for a recipe before, and it is my deep delight to be able to present it to you now. (I didn’t do it straightaway, as I wanted to do more rigorous testing and checking first, as cooking and recipe writing are not quite the same thing.)
