  • Put onions and celery in a large soup/stock pot and add enough water to just cover. Boil until water has evaporated.
  • While onions and celery are cooking, brown sirloin in a large frying pan. When water has evaporated from pot, add chopped green bell pepper, garlic, jalapeno, and chillies along with chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and sugar.
  • Stir ingredients for 1-2 minutes and then add browned sirloin, tomatoes, beans, and tomato soup. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer (10 minutes or so).
  • Once you've got a good simmer going, add chocolate. Stir mixture regularly and cook on low for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
