Ingredients

Serves: 4-6

Metric Cups
  • 25 grams gelatine
  • 6 tablespoons drinking chocolate
  • 1⅖ litres water
  • 400 millilitres sweetened condensed milk
  • strawberries (chopped)
  • ⅞ ounce gelatine
  • 6 tablespoons drinking chocolate
  • 2½ pints water
  • 14 fluid ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • strawberries (chopped)

Method

  • Boil 1.4 litre water in a heavy base pot. Put jelly strips in the hot water to dissolve and let it boil for 1 minute.
  • Put MILO powder and condensed milk in the boiling jelly and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Tip the mixture in a heat resistant jelly mould.
  • Put chopped strawberries and let it cool and hardened (about 2 - 3 hours)
  • Served chill.
